The podium winners of the final leg of the Royal Air Maroc League pose for a photograph with the overall winners and officials at the Al Bidda Park in Doha, on Friday. Team Velostar’s British rider Chris Murrin claimed top honour by winning the Men’s A Grade (MA) race in 25:13.79 in the final round of the popular cycling league.
Qatari cyclist Marwan Aljalham (Rasen Adventure Shop) won the Men’s B Grade race while Men’s C Grade was clinched by Filipino Mas Caparanga (SMCC APO Lakay). Julie Melville (Rasen Adventure Shop) and Elizabeth Dunne (Team Al Jassra) secured the Women’s A and B grade titles respectively.
Filipino Jamison Carino (Bike to Work Qatar) emerged victorious in the Open Men’s Mountain Bike event while Ara Kirby (Doha ChiQlistas) topped the field in the Women’s MTB Open class.
