Doha: W Doha Hotel & Residences is marking Purple Saturday, reaffirming its commitment to accessibility, inclusion and creating meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities.
Throughout the initiative, taking place from July 25 to August 1, the hotel’s lobby is illuminated in purple as a visible symbol of solidarity and support for a more accessible and inclusive community.
The initiative also reflects W Doha’s wider commitment to cultivating an inclusive workplace culture and hospitality experience where people of all abilities feel welcomed, valued and represented.
Extending the initiative into the guest experience, W Café has introduced a specially curated purple-themed dessert selection, available throughout the campaign period.
The selection offers a creative expression of support for Purple Saturday while encouraging awareness and meaningful engagement among guests.
Purple Saturday serves as an opportunity to recognise the importance of accessibility and to continue building environments where everyone can participate, connect and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
During Purple Saturday and beyond, W Doha remains a place for all guests, regardless of ability or individual needs, committed to delivering an inclusive and welcoming hospitality experience for everyone.
