Ministry closes salon for violating COVID-19 guidelines

Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) closed a salon for a period of 15 days due to a violation of the precautionary measure guidelines issued by the Ministry to counter the outbreak of the Coronavirus. 

The Ministry said in a statement published on Twitter that the action was taken against A&M Salon and Spa located in Al-Aziziyah as they violated precautionary measures issued by the ministry earlier to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The salon will be closed for 15 days. 

The Ministry stated that citizens and residents wanting to communicate issues related to the trade affairs sector can call the hotline 16001.
