QOC to celebrate IOC Foundation Day

 The  Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) in collaboration  with Qatar  Swimming Association (QSA) will be organizing ‘Swimming For All Tournament’  at Hamad Aquatics Complex  in Doha on Sunday as part of its annual celebration of  formation of IOC, .

Sunday’s event  will see multiple swimming activities shall begin  from  4:30pm with  involvement of  three age groups , 13-17 year, 18-23 year and 24 year and over.

The participating groups are due to compete  in 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle and  4x50m freestyle for   all age  groups. It  is worth mentioning that every swimmer is allowed to take part  in  all  individual events, meanwhile relay  event is only open for 13 years category and over.

According to QOC, registration process now  underway, points count in  all activities  is conducted as per  FINA format.

Event’s organizers have allocated valuable financial Awards for the top nine places in each age group. The top three winners in each category receive QR 1000 prize money.  In Relay  race, the top winners get QR 4.000, runners-up will get 3000, while the third place winners will  receive QR 2000.
