Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan
Doha: Qatar's top beach volleyball pair Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan have qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
The duo, ranked seventh in the latest list released by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), is one of the 13 pairs who have guaranteed direct qualification for the 2020 Olympics.
Cherif and Tijan have accumulated 5,280 points following their successful campaigns in Cancun, Mexico, where they won a gold and two silver medals.
With 7,400 points, Cherif and Ahmed are currently placed in the fifth spot of the provisional rankings for Tokyo Olympic qualifications.
