Doha: With the attendance of Minister of Culture H E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the second edition of the “Ministry of Culture Forum” commenced yesterday under the theme “Legacy, Influence and Impact.”
The forum serves as both a celebratory and interactive platform, bringing together the Ministry’s leadership and employees to reaffirm the values of teamwork in pursuit of a sustainable national cultural mission, and to outline the next phase of cultural development in the country.
The event opened with a vibrant heritage segment, where students from Al Nahda Primary School for Girls delivered an exquisite performance of the traditional “Al Murada” art form, evoking the rich spirit of Qatari heritage.
In remarks addressed to staff, the Minister of Culture emphasized that sincere dedication is the cornerstone of every success, noting that achievements are not the result of individual effort alone, but rather the product of collective collaboration. He also encouraged cultural professionals to continue striving forward and overcoming challenges.
The forum featured a documentary video highlighting key cultural milestones and achievements realized in 2025. The presentation showcased the transformation of plans into tangible outcomes and major events that left a clear imprint locally and internationally, reflecting the Ministry’s recognized institutional excellence.
Director of the Public Relations and Communication Department at the Ministry of Culture, Ahmed Al Yafei commented saying the forum reflects the Ministry’s strategy to strengthen institutional communication and bridge gaps among its various departments and affiliated centers. He noted that the gathering embodies the spirit of one unified team working in harmony under the banner “Legacy; Influence; and Impact.”
He added that the Public Relations Department views its role as extending beyond traditional frameworks, serving as a vital communication bridge aimed at fostering an interactive and motivating work environment. Through the forum, he said, the Ministry seeks to promote a culture of appreciation and recognition for every sincere effort that contributes to enhancing Qatar’s cultural standing.
As part of efforts to boost institutional efficiency, Director of Planning, Quality and Innovation at the Ministry, Latifa Al Kuwari reviewed the Ministry’s key achievements in institutional excellence, affirming its commitment to sustaining cultural performance and developing work mechanisms in ways that serve creators and audiences alike.
