QSAA unveils details of Nishan Vodafone Ramadan Tournament

The Qatar Shooting & Archery Association (QSAA) yesterday announced the details of the 2022 Nishan Vodafone Ramadan Tournament and accompanying festival of games under the patronage of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani.
The events are already underway and will continue until April 19 at the Lusail Shooting Range.
A press conference was held in this regard at the QOC Headquarters, attended by the tournament Director and QSAA Assistant Secretary General Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Tamimi, Head of technical committee  Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Thani and Head of Media Relations and CSR of Vodafone Qatar (Tournament Official Partner) Ali Atiq Alabdulla, alongside the  representatives of local media. 
Al Tamimi  said the tournament aims to discover  the most talented elements in the game , develop their skills and  helping clubs and national teams to achieve quantum leap in the game and to  promote this sport among citizens and residents whose rate of participation in the game rises sharply year after another.
“This  tournament will bring two categories together ( Amateurs and professionals) from both genders to compete in the Shotgun, Rifle, Pistol and Archery. We confirm that whole registration process is well underway, we promise you with a new look tournament packed with surprises and quietly different from previous three editions. We truly happy to attract all the members of society to this Ramadan Heritage Gathering,” added Al Tamimi.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Thani briefed the gathering on the details of training sessions, official competitions, regulations, participating teams and prize money which will exceed QR300,000.
In the same context, Alabdulla said  that Vodafone is committed to support sport activities , with its  belief that sport have a crucial role in developing the society and enhancing cooperation and spirit of competitions.
Al Tamimi thanked and appreciated the tangible efforts of contributors, supporters and sponsors that made this festival meaningful and successful, the Qatar Olympic Committee, Vodafone Qatar, Mazzraty (NGA) Farm, Blue Salon, Attraction For Events, Qatar Voluntary Center and Al Rami Sport Club.
