Aramco helicopter crash kills 14 in Saudi Arabia: SPA

Doha, Qatar: A helicopter belonging to Saudi Aramco crashed in Ras Tanura early Sunday morning, June 28, 2026, killing 14 people, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. 

SPA quoted an official source at the Ministry of Energy as saying that the crash occurred at 6am, resulting in the death of all 14 passengers on board, all of whom were Saudi citizens. 

The report added that investigations are underway to determine the cause of the crash. 

The Ministry extended its deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.
