Doha, Qatar: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has confirmed that a full range of emergency and routine healthcare services is continuing across its hospital network, while urging patients to make use of the Lbaih mobile application for faster and more convenient access to services.
HMC said all outpatient clinics are operating as scheduled. Patients who wish to reschedule existing outpatient appointments can do so easily through the Lbaih mobile application, which can downloadable for iPhone (iOS) & Android platforms.
The Lbaih app also enables patients with existing prescriptions to reorder medication and arrange home delivery for a small fee, reducing the need to visit healthcare facilities in person.
In addition to digital services, HMC continues to provide several specialist helplines, allowing patients to receive expert medical advice from their homes.
Urgent Consultation Service
A telephone-based medical consultation service enabling patients to speak directly with a physician about urgent health concerns without visiting a hospital. For availing this service patients can call helpline 16000, select 3rd option and select 1 for the urgent medical consultation. This service is available from Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 3pm.
Diabetes Hotline
HMC provides medical advice and support for people living with diabetes. People can call Diabetes Hotline number 16099 and select 4th option for the avail this service from Sunday to Thursday from 7am to 3pm.
Mental Health Helpline
A free and confidential helpline offering psychological support, guidance and information the public available daily from 8am to 8pm until further notice by calling 16000 and select 4th option conveniently.
RAHA National Alzheimer’s and Memory Services Helpline
HMC ensures confidential support line for individuals aged 60 and above living with Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss or other forms of dementia, and their caregivers. This service can avail by calling 40262222 on Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 3pm.
Pediatric Emergency Center Hotline
A 24/7 hotline providing professional guidance and medical advice on pediatric emergencies. People can avail this service by calling 44396066.
Clinical Imaging Call Center
For booking inquiries or rescheduling of clinical imaging appointments, public can call helpline 16060 anytime or WhtasApp 44393377. This service is available from Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm and 8am to 2pm on Saturdays
Therapeutic Dietetics and Nutrition Services
HMC provides medical nutrition services to registered patients. Patients can register for this service by calling 16060, select their preferred language, select 4th option for therapeutic dietetics and nutrition services and select 1st option for Dietary Supplements follow-up. This service is available on Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 1pm
HMC Medication Delivery Service
Patients with existing prescriptions can reorder medications through the Lbaih mobile app and arrange home delivery. Alternatively they can also call 16000, select 3rd option and then choose 2nd option for pharmacy. This service is available Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm until further notice
