Manama: The Shura Council is participating in the meetings of the 146th General Assembly and the 211th session of the Governing Council of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which will be held in Bahrain from today till March 15, with a delegation headed by Speaker of the Council H E Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim.
The work programme includes several meetings of the General Assembly of the Union, meetings of the Governing Council, as well as meetings of the permanent committees, in addition to workshops and accompanying events, and coordination meetings between the Gulf, Arab and Islamic parliaments.
