Doha, Qatar: Snoonu’s participation at Web Summit Qatar 2026 marked a significant milestone in the company’s journey, reflecting its transition into a more mature and influential phase as a Qatari technology company with global aspirations.
Through a strong leadership presence on the main stage, the launch of advanced technology initiatives, the formation of strategic partnerships, and the transformation of its booth into one of the summit’s most active knowledge platforms, Snoonu demonstrated how locally built technology can scale with clarity of vision and long-term impact.
Snoonu’s presence on Centre Stage was led by Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Hamad Mubarak Al Hajri, who delivered a keynote inspired by Qatar’s hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, a project that moved from global skepticism to international acclaim.
Al Hajri emphasised that the World Cup represented more than a sporting event; it was a mindset shift. It showed that major achievements are possible when bold vision is supported by infrastructure, resilience, and disciplined execution. His message to founders and investors was clear: Qatar and the wider region possess the foundations required to build globally competitive technology champions.
A major highlight of the summit was the launch of Snoonu Robotics, announced during a joint press conference and supported by the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council.
The initiative marks Snoonu’s entry into physical artificial intelligence, robotics, and autonomous logistics, signaling a long-term strategic direction aligned with Qatar’s national innovation and digital transformation agenda.
On the exhibition floor, the Snoonu booth evolved into a dynamic space for dialogue and learning. The company’s leadership team delivered more than twenty-five workshops and expert sessions, covering topics such as leadership, scaling strategies, innovation, operations, and market entry.
Building on its commitment to dialogue and knowledge sharing, Snoonu launched the Snoonu Podcast as an open platform for entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers.
Web Summit Qatar 2026 also highlighted Snoonu’s expanding role as an ecosystem enabler. The company signed several strategic agreements, led by a partnership with Alvarez & Marsal to support startups and entrepreneurs in Qatar and beyond through Snoonu’s incubator.
In addition, Snoonu hosted a reception for Palestinian entrepreneurs and startups, followed by the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Flow Accelerator to implement targeted support initiatives.
Further partnerships were announced with Karty and Computer Systems - Total IT Systems, strengthening Snoonu’s service portfolio and technology infrastructure.
Beyond its booth activities, Snoonu played a key operational role in powering the Food Summit at Web Summit Qatar 2026. On a personal level, Hamad Mubarak Al Hajri announced his decision to join Shorooq Partners as an investor. The move reflects his belief in founder-first, long-term investment models that prioritise conviction, patience, and sustainable impact over short-term outcomes.
