Doha: Olive International School (OIS) has conducted virtual investiture ceremony to invest the student council members for the academic year 2021-22.
On this solemn occasion all the young student council members were well prepared to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility. OIS has always done its best to inculcate leadership qualities in its students which has helped them execute the vision and mission of the school effectively. A positive spirit of unity and enthusiasm filled the air as the grand ceremony commenced. Pankaj Kumar Mishra IRS (Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics) and Jyothis Mohan IRS (Joint Commissioner, Income tax Department – Mumbai) were the chief guests gracing the ceremony.
Their motivational speech urged the newly appointed council members to make use of their leadership skills to bring about positive change in the institution. The Chief Guests along with the Principal, Dr. Jackson Maroky; the Vice- Principal, Anupama Sajith; the headmistress of Nuaija campus Sarika Pandey and the Headmistress of Umm Salal campus Roopinder Kaur administered the oath for the new council members while the parents of the young leaders invested the badges. The vibrant student performers added colour to the event by their rocking performances. The principal, and the vice-principal motivated all the student council members by encouraging them to be better than the best.
The coordinators and the proud parent of the newly elected student council members were congratulated and was wished good luck.
It was a proud moment for all the parents to witness their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders.
