Olive International School organised ‘Coffee With Principal’, an Award Distribution Function at its Al Thumama Campus, for the three branches of its school - Al Thumama, Abu Hamour and Nuaija. The main idea behind the distribution of awards was to motivate and appreciate the students who were self-disciplined and determined to persevere the same throughout, to accomplish success.
Olive International School invited parents whose children were opted as ‘Star-Child’ of Term III. It was a proud moment for the parents to be present themselves to witness their wards getting awards for being disciplined, empathetic, good at social skill and conclusively would become a ‘Star-Child’.
The assembly area of Olive, Thumama, on Thursday, was exalted with presence of parents who were puffed with pride for the accomplishments of their wards. They were welcomed by the faculty members of Olive and welcome song was sung by Thumama students followed by a welcome dance by Abu Hamour tiny tots. Principal addressed the parents, and appreciated them for bringing up their wards with overall development.
Principal hold forth to the gatherings and introduced all the heads and new Vice Principal and expressed himself, that he was happy and feeling proud to be with the parents and addressed them as Star-Parents of the Star-Child. Also he added that Olive would always bring a very good character among the students apart from academics. It would train the students to be sensitive to the underprivileged in the society and would reiterate to be an outstanding human being.
The child’s brain development would be more at the age of six and he appreciated the parents for being hero and heroine to their own wards to inculcate honesty, responsibility, discipline and whatnot inputs into their wards. Principal asked all the parents to pat themselves on their back for bringing up such a wonderful wards as their child as well as the student of Olive. ‘Star-Children’ were honoured by Principal, Vice-Principals, Headmistresses, by distributing certificates to each one of them.
The function culminated with snacks and other refreshments and each parents dispersed after clicking themselves with principal, to retain their pleasant memories. It was a red-letter day to all the parents who assembled there and it was an another milestone to all the Olivians.
