Doha, Qatar: Garangao is a cherished tradition celebrated across the Gulf region. In Qatar, it marks the midway point of the holy month of Ramadan.

The day serves as a celebration and encouragement for children, rewarding them for fasting for half of the holy month of Ramadan.
