DOHA: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) management held their final technical coordination meeting yesterday as they gear up to host the 2018-19 edition of the League.
With the first round matches of the new season set to be played on August 4 and 5, the meeting held at the Al Bidaa Tower saw the QSL management holding discussions with team representatives. An official from the referees department was also present.
The participants discussed the organisational details of the matches, including matchday operations, ticketing and team entrances. As the opening round matches of the season are set to be played at the Khalifa International Stadium and Jassim bin Hamad Stadium due to the venues’ cooling technology, the QSL officials spoke of the specific facilities and team areas at the two stadiums.
Finally, the team representatives unveiled their primary and secondary kits for their clubs, which will be used during the upcoming season.
