Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MOI) advised residents to avoid disturbing or inconveniencing others while riding on jet skis.
The Ministry stated on social media that reckless use of jet skis, including crowding may result in confiscation and legal penalties.
“According to the Text of Article 319 of the Penal Code stating anyone who causes harassment or inconvenience to others shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding 6 months and a fine not exceeding three thousand riyals or by either penalty,” the Ministry stated.
It further enjoins respect for the law to avoid penalties or having the jet ski impounded.
