beIN SPORTS is set to host the much anticipated 2019 Wimbledon Championships live and exclusive on its channels. The action-packed event, now in its 133rd edition kicks off on Monday with the finals set for July 13 July and 14.
The 2019 Wimbledon Championship will be the first version to feature a tie break at 12-12 in the final set. The women’s singles will also see 16 qualifiers from 128 entrants – an increase from 12 qualifiers from 96 entrants.
beIN SPORTS will broadcast more than 100 exclusive matches – more than 200 hours of live coverage including shows and programs from beIN’s dedicated studios in Doha with famous presenters and analysts Adel Al Shatti, Amine Rhissasi, Selima Sfar, Mamdouh Marzouk, Iyad Al Akari and many others.
Last month, beIN launched a new global initiative to encourage women across the world to play more sport under the new branding of “beINSPIRED”, through which beIN will provide a global platform to events and talent that haven’t, historically, been given the exposure they deserve. The FIFA Women’s World Cup – which beIN recently distributed across more countries than any other global broadcaster – was the first beINSPIRED tournament aired on beIN SPORTS.
beIN SPORTS’ beINSPIRED campaign can be followed on all social media platforms using #beINSPIRED19.
