Doha: QNB, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, participated in the second student union forum in Los Angeles, California organised by the Qatari Embassy in Washington.
QNB’s participation in this event highlights its role in supporting the Qatari younger generation to become future leaders and contribute to the development of the State of Qatar.
In the event, the Bank’s Human Capital team presented to the students a comprehensive slideshow on job opportunities in the banking sector and the development programs and opportunities offered by the Bank. The presentation highlighted QNB’s Training and Development Center’s activities, such as talent management, development programs and QNB’s envoy program.
The envoy program prepares employees residing in Qatar to be allocated in an overseas branch, providing them with the opportunity to gain international banking skills and expertise.
This forum is an ideal opportunity to support the development of the State of Qatar and to provide a platform to showcase scholarships and recruitment opportunities. The event also highlighted training opportunities for the young generation to explore their potential and help them achieve the economic, social and political goals set for QNV 2030 and prepare them to be future leaders.
