Qatar players arriving in Tashkent, Uzbekistan yesterday to take part in the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2022, which gets underway on June 1. Qatar are in Group A of the tournament with hosts Uzbekistan, Iran and Turkmenistan.
The team, coached by Nicolas Cordova, will open their campaign with a match against Iran on June 1 before meeting Uzbekistan on June 4. Their last group match against Turkmenistan is scheduled on June 7.
