Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar on Saturday strongly condemned Israel's repeated violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of individuals.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that “these actions represent a dangerous escalation that risks further inflaming the situation and undermining regional and international efforts to consolidate calm and restore stability in the Strip.”

The ministry affirmed that the continuation of these violations poses a direct threat to the existing political process and obstructs efforts to establish a more secure and stable environment for the suffering Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

It stressed the need for Israel's full adherence to the ceasefire agreement to ensure the success of the second phase of the plan proposed by His Excellency U.S. President Donald Trump and the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and refrain from any actions that could undermine ongoing efforts or hinder the creation of appropriate conditions for initiating the early recovery and reconstruction phase in the Gaza Strip.
