Golfer Mike Tyrer with DGC Golf Operations Manager, Jordan Massey after the conclusion of Doha Golf Club’s Monthly Mug last weekend. Englishman Tyrer scored a superb 41 points to take the division 2 prize by two points over Nicholas White. The ladies division title went to Nguyen Thi Chau Ahn of Vietnam while new member Ben Goodson was the winner in men’s division 3 event. A special mention goes to 17-year-old Mikkel Mathiesen who scored a stunning gross score of 66 that included a whopping nine birdies. His score of 40 points thanks to a handicap of -2 saw him finish one point behind Pratjush Jain in division one. As many as 86 golfers took part in competition which was sponsored by Megarme.
