Qatar’s national youth teams (men’s and women’s) claimed two gold medals at the Arab 3x3 Basketball Championship for Youth, held in Muscat, Oman. In the men’s competition, Qatar defeated Kuwait in the final to secure the title. Qatar’s men displayed dominance throughout the tournament, advancing undefeated from the group stage with victories over Lebanon (14–12), Oman B (21–16), and Oman A (17–11) before clinching the championship.
The women’s team delivered an equally commanding performance, winning all their matches to claim gold. Qatar’s women recorded large-margin wins including 21–4 against Oman B, 20–3 against Oman A and 16–2 against Kuwait, before sealing the title with a victory over Oman in the final.
