DOHA: Qatar Football Association (QFA) Disciplinary Committee punished Al Sadd's Rodrigo Tabata with a two-match suspension and a fine of QR 5,000 following Week 1 of the 2022/2023 season of the QNB Stars League.
Based on Clause 47/1/2 of the disciplinary law, the committee punished the Brazilian midfielder over the excessive use of power that led to his dismissal during his side's 1-2 loss to Al Gharafa on Tuesday.
The seven-placed Al Sadd with four points will play with Al Sailiya on August 30 in Week 5 at Al Thumama Stadium.
