Doha: The players and officials of the Qatar Total Open 2020 took time away from the adrenaline rush a competition of its calibre typically gives, to enjoy a night of glamour, fun and entertainment at an exclusive gala dinner held at the Marsa Malaz Kempinski Doha on Sunday.

Tennis stars including tournament’s top-seeds Ashleigh Barty, Karolina Pliskova, Belinda Bencic, Elina Svitolina, Sofia Kenin, Kiki Bertens and Petra Kvitova were at the event which was also attended by QTSBF President Nasser Al Khelaifi, QTSBF Secretary-General Tariq Zainal, Tournament Director Saad Al Mohannadi and Managing Director Total E&P Qatar, and Country Chair – Total Laurent Wolffsheim among others.

The guests were treated to music from a live band, besides other entertainment on the sidelines, making the night a memorable one for all attendees.

Welcoming the guests, Khelaifi said, “It is a great pleasure to once again welcome everyone to this gala dinner. In line with our annual tradition, this dinner serves as an opportunity to enjoy the great hospitality the Qatar Total Open offers and for everyone to let the hair down as much as possible. I wish everyone a wonderful night and I wish the players the best of luck.”

The Qatar Total Open 2020 started on Sunday and it will run until February 29 at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex.
