Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Transport and Qatar Society of Engineers yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen collaboration in R&D in smart transportation, studies, safety on roads, and relevant laws and legislation.
The MoU will contribute to enhancing national talents’ expertise in road transportation by developing specialized training, and holding workshops, educational sessions, and upskilling programs for capacity-building in mobility innovation.
The personnel, who perform engineering jobs at MoT’s Land Transport Affairs, will also have access to training programmes.
