Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has launched the 2026 Summer Student Activity Centres, which will run from July 5 to August 3, 2026, offering an enjoyable and comprehensive educational experience while providing students with a safe and stimulating learning environment during the summer vacation.
The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with a distinguished group of strategic partners across the country under the slogan “Invest in Their Summer with Creativity.”
The centres have begun welcoming students with a wide range of interactive programmes designed to develop their creative and cognitive skills. Activities are held daily from 9am to 1pm and are open to students aged 6 to 18 years, including students from government schools, Qatari students enrolled in private schools, and students with special needs. A fully equipped, dedicated centre has been established specifically to meet the needs of students with special needs.
The activities are being hosted across five carefully selected summer centres to ensure easy accessibility. These include Al Wakra Secondary School for Boys, Khalifa Secondary School for Boys, Al Khor Secondary School for Girls, Amna bint Wahb Secondary School for Girls, and Al Hidaya School for Students with Special Needs in Al Hilal for boys.
The initiative forms part of the Ministry’s strategy to build an integrated education system that supports the holistic development of students and contributes to achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 by strengthening human capital and empowering future generations to confidently meet the challenges of the future.
