Vienna---The Eurovision Song Contest, Europe's often outrageous and enduringly popular annual pop fest now in its 60th year, kicked off in Vienna on Saturday night.
Among the 27 acts vying to follow in the footsteps of the 2014 champion, Austrian bearded drag queen Conchita Wurst, is Australia, competing for the first time.
