Qatar University to host IEEE International Conference in February

Doha:  Qatar University, in cooperation with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, will host the activities of the IEEE International Conference on Informatics, IoT, and Enabling Technologies (ICIoT’20) to be held between February 2 and 5, within the framework of the World Congress on Engineering organised by the University’s College of Engineering.

IEEE International Conference on Informatics, IoT, and Enabling Technologies (ICIoT’20) aims at providing a forum for sharing ideas and new research advances among researchers and practitioners working on state-of-the-art solutions in informatics, artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, Internet of Things (IoT), enabling technologies, security, Industry 4.0, and e-Health.

The conference is expected to attract renowned researchers as keynote speakers, organise training sessions and tutorials, and present recent advances in the field. The Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department and Associate Professor of Computer Science Dr. Somaya Al Maadeed said the conference attracted researchers from different countries of the world interested in information technology, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and medical applications.

The last two days of the event will be devoted to discussing the biggest technological challenges facing society and ways to solve and develop them.
