Doha: A number of Qatari riders are preparing to take part in the sixth round of the Longines Global Champions Tour , which will be hosted by the French Riviera in St Tropez from May 31 to June 2.
The Qatari national team continue to hold their training camp in the Netherlands, that includes Hamad Al Attiyah, Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al Thani, Bassem Hassan and Rashid Tawim Al Marri.
The coming period, will see Ali Al Marri, Said Al Rashidi and Hassan Al Nuaimi join the camp in preparation for their upcoming participation in the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia. This season saw the addition of two new tournaments in Prague and the French Riviera in St Tropez. This year, the number of tours rose to 17 round the world, starting in Mexico City, from March 22 to 25, and the last round at the individual level will be held in Doha from November 8 to 10.
