Doha: Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) will be hosting the 2nd season of the legends League Masters, the international edition of Legends League in Doha Qatar from March 10 to 20, it was announced yesterday.
Around 60 cricket legends from 12 countries will be coming together for the tournament. This season will have eight matches played at the Asian Town International Cricket Stadium.
The LLC Masters is the international league from the house of Legends League Cricket comprising three teams, India Maharajas, Asia Lions, and World Giants.
Legends like Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, Brett Lee, Shane Watson, Chris Gayle, and Lendl Simmons will be in action during this 10 days of cricketing extravaganza. Fans can book their tickets from discover Qatar. Dates of the ticket sales will be announced in Qatar cricket association social media and discover Qatar platforms.
Commenting on the event, Qatar Cricket Association President Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saoud Al Thani said “We are glad to host legends league for the first time in Qatar.
We hope this will bring in new developments and promotion of cricket in the state of Qatar. Legends League will be a treat to all the cricket fans in GCC to visit and watch these legends in action..
