Cairo: Al Wakrah and Al Gharafa will participate in the 33rd edition of the Arab Club Basketball Championship, which will be held in Alexandria, Egypt, from September 29 to October 9.
The draw has placed Al Wakrah and Al Gharafa in Group B and Group D respectively. The teams have been divided into 4 groups, 4 teams in two groups, and 5 teams in two groups.
Al Wakrah are in Group B, along with the UAE’s Sharjah, Al Yarmouk from Kuwait, Greek from Sudan and Al Zahraa from Tunisia. Al Gharafa are placed in Group D, along with the Lebanese Beirut, Al Bataeh from UAE, Al Kuwait SC from Kuwait, and Manama from Bahrain.
The preliminary round matches will be held in a league manner from one round, then two teams from each group qualify for the quarter-finals.
