Qatar suffer defeat to Chinese Taipei in their opening match yesterday.
Doha: Qatar youth basketball team will take on Philippines today in their second match at FIBA U18 Asian Championship 2022, which is played in Tehran.
The event which started yesterday will conclude on August 28.
Team Qatar began their campaign in the championship with a 62-96 defeat at the hands of Chinese Taipei yesterday.
The quarter-finals will take place on the immediate day after the end of the Group Phase on August 24.
Team Qatar qualified to the Asian championship after winning the title of GCC U18 Basketball Championship held in UAE recently with a 75-51 victory over Saudi Arabia in the final match.
