Doha: Q-Mission, organisers of the Qatar Celebrity Cricket League-T20 match, announced the rescheduling of the blockbuster event due to ongoing high-profile sport events in the country such as the FIFA Club World cup and other circumstances including the weather conditions which were beyond their control.

The QCCL match that was originally scheduled to take place yesterday, will now be held on Friday – January 31, 2020 at the Jassim Bin Thani Stadium.

The FIFA Club World Cup concludes today. Hence given the overwhelming response and anticipated large turnout for the event, the decision was made in the best interests of the audiences and the participants.

Goodwill ambassadors from various awareness societies in Qatar and differently–abled people from the Qatar diaspora will participate in the event to raise awareness of people with disabilities. This event is hosted by Q-Mission as part of its social responsibility goals in Qatar.

QCCL will continue to host programs year on year with different themes and supporting the community.

The T20 match will be officiated by legendary international umpires and will also see popular commentators.

Players for the two teams will be selected by a renowned international coach and will play alongside 14 well known cricket legends from 11 countries.
