Aspire Academy student athletes, including shooters Abdulaziz Al Turki, Nasser Al Naemi and Saoud Al Yafei, who won eight medals at the recently concluded 14th Arab Championships, pose for a photograph during a felicitation ceremony held yesterday. The youngsters played a major role in the host nation’s rise to the top during the eight-day event which saw over 200 shooters from 10 countries in action. Qatar bagged 47 medals, including 18 gold, 14 silver and 15 bronze.
