Doha: The draw for the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup will take place in Basra, Iraq on October 25, the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) said yesterday.
“All the final arrangements and preparations for the ceremony of the 25th Gulf Cup are on track,” said AGCFF Secretary-General Jassim Al Rumaihi. “The preparations in Iraq are in full swing to host the tournament, which will be a Gulf carnival. The coordination meetings are continuing and we will share more details regarding the tournament in the coming period,” he added.
The Arabian Gulf Cup is scheduled to be held from January 6 to 19, 2023 in Basra.
Bahrain will defend their title while the other participating teams include hosts Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Yemen and Kuwait.
