King Shalaa (left) landed the Barzan Cup claiming a neck win during the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club’s (QREC) 12th race meeting yesterday. Ronan Thomas rode the Alban Elie De Mieulle-trained gelding in the feature for Thoroughbreds (QA Gr3) (Class 1).
Meanwhile, Carlos Henrique guided Conflict (right) to win in Thoroughbred Guineas (3yo only) (QA Gr3) (Class 1) in other major race on Guineas & Barzan Cup Day.
