Ikstrums fired seven birdies to claim inaugural Green Jacket in the Education City Golf Club Masters tournament.
Ikstrums took the first place honours in the gross division with a score of +1 (73).
The score could not have been better with him firing an impressive 7 birdies throughout his round of golf.
Education City Golf Club member, Timothy Hufford took the first place honours in the Nett division with a score of -2 (70). His round featured a nett eagle and 8 nett birdies.
The winners took home some excellent prizes from Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara who partnered with the inaugural tournament at Education City Golf Club.
The tournament saw some great scores from all 55 players participating in the event.
The event was an open tournament that saw members and visitors challenge for their very own Green Jacket.
In line with the pristine golf course conditions that are seen on regular basis at Education City Golf Club and Augusta National, the agronomy team ensured the greens had some Augusta like speed to them taking the Education City Golf Club greens up to 13 on the Stimpmeter.
