Doha, Qatar: The Family Counseling Center "Wifaq", one of the centers affiliated with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has launched its Ramadan campaign 2026 under the motto: Your Awareness Protects Your Home.
This flagship initiative underscores the center's overall vision in deepening family stability, as well as preventive awareness notions through a combined system of media, awareness, and societal initiatives spanning the whole month of Ramadan.
The campaign is part of Wifaq's strategy to leverage a variety of communication and media tools to spread positive familial messages and broaden the societal impact cycle, thereby helping support family as the lynchpin in building a balanced and stable society.
This campaign's umbrella is structured into a combined bundle of activities and initiatives, foremost of which is a digital campaign showcased in a creative mold that blends social drama of an informative-comedy nature, as well as consultative solutions based on the center's scientific facts and specialized expertise, reflecting the core reality of challenges encountering the marital relationship and laying it out in an interactive style closer to the audience without compromising the depth and rigor of the proposal.
The campaign garners wide media presence through TV conversations that shed light on its awareness themes and dimensions, as well as projecting its vision in supporting family stability and deepening the culture of preventive awareness, thereby fostering the diffusion of its message to be further imparted to various community segments.
As part of strengthening the societal dimension, Wifaq is poised to hold awareness Majlis during Ramadan, bringing together a contingent of in-the-know societal and media figures and specialists with the objective of enhancing communication and sharing visions on ways to support family cohesion, in addition to deepening societal partnership to safeguard family and its stability.
Director of the Communication and Media Office at Wifaq, Rashid Al Shahwani, stated that this campaign represents a combined model for familial awareness action that transcends the traditional proposal.
The center has been keen to leverage epochal media tools that combine impact and specialty, addressing the audience with a language that is closer to the reality of those audiences without ignoring the scientific and professional reference on which the center's operation is grounded, Al Shahwani pointed out.
Al Shahwani further noted that the campaign intends to make an enduring impact in strengthening spouses' awareness, along with its impact on protecting the marital relationship against misgivings and misunderstandings.
The campaign warns against unqualified consultations and advice sought from unreliable sources, Al Shahwani suggested, emphasizing the importance of financial management based on transparency and family agreement, enhancing effective family communication skills and addressing the effects of excessive screen time, as well as clarifying the boundaries of parental intervention and distinguishing between positive support and interference that may affect the privacy of family decisions.
