Ministry cleans dead fish from Al Adaid beach

Doha: The Al Adaid beach is cleaned of dead fish stated the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC).

The Ministry said that it had implemented a campaign to clean Al Adaid beach of dead fish, in order to ensure the aesthetic and civilized appearance of the country and the safety and cleanliness of the environment.

In a picture shared on its social media, the officials were seen collecting the dead fish in five bags and a container.  

Ministry had reported on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, that it had begun an investigation into reports of fish deaths that had washed up on the Al Adaid beach.

A group of specialists had taken samples of fish to the laboratory to be examined so as to determine the causes behind the incident.
