Cherif, Tijan bow out of World Championship

Qatar’s Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan yesterday went down fighting against Brazil’s Bruno Schmidt and Saymon Barbosa in their pre-quarter-final match of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship in Rome. The World No.2 pair lost 21-19, 21-19 in an absorbing clash.
