Doha: Prominent Qatari athlete Nasra Muhammad yesterday clinched the gold medal in the 10-metre air pistol event of the Amir Cup Shooting Championships at the Lusail Shooting Range.
Noura Al Mutawa won the silver medal in the event while Zainab Boufatim finished third. In the youth event of the same category, Al Jazi Al Kathiri won the gold while Al Shalwani and Al Anoud Al Kaabi booked the remaining podium spots after finishing second and third respectively.

Earlier, Bashayer Al Shuaibi emerged victorious in the junior event. Khouloud Al Sharshani came in second place while Nouf Al Sharshani won the third place.
The championship continues today with the young men's and women's 10-metre air rifle events.
