President of the Qatar Boxing Federation (QBF) Sheikh Fahad bin Khalid Al Thani (centre) recently visited Kazakhstan on the invitation of Kazakhstan Boxing Federation (KBF).
The QBF President met top KBF officials in Astana and discussed ways of cooperation between the two countries to boost the sport. The development of youth from a grassroot level through annual plan was also discussed. Sheikh Fahad also met Kazakhstan’s former Olympic and world champion Serik Sapiyev.
During his visit, the QBF President also visited sport’s facilities in Astana and Shymkent and was introduced to the Kazakhstan boxing development process.
