Doha: Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, met with Charge d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in the country, H E Ian McCary, yesterday.
During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, in addition to exchanging views on a number of regional issues and topics of common interest.
Also the Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs met with EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process H E Sven Koopmans.
During the meeting, they discussed the efforts of the State of Qatar in the Gaza Strip, the latest developments in the Palestinian arena, and ways to advance the peace process in the Middle East.
