Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met on Monday with President of the Republic of Maldives HE Dr. Mohamed Muizzu on the sidelines of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit at the Sheraton Doha Hotel.
Discussions focused on bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and expand cooperation, in addition to regional and international issues of common concern. The two sides also addressed the treacherous Israeli attack and reviewed several topics on the summit agenda.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, and Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi. From the Maldivian side, Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HE the President attended.
