Meteorology Department expects cold weather by night, warns of strong wind

Doha, Qatar: Al Ghuwayriyah and Al Shahaniyah stations recorded the lowest temperature today at 13°C, the Meteorology Department said in its daily weather report for today, December 18, 2025.

With Doha recording 19°C, the department reported that the wind was moderate to fresh in speed with strong gusts going southeasterly – northeasterly.

There was also a report of some cloud being visible at first with became hazy and cloudy with thundery rain and the weather is expected to be relatively cold at night.

In a previous special National Day post by the department, thundery rain is expected today in the afternoon, accompanied with strong wind.
