Doha: The Qatar Football Association’s (QFA) Disciplinary Committee, headed by Hassan Al Hammadi, met on Tuesday to review reports from Amir Cup matches.
During the meeting, the committee decided to suspend star striker Almoez Ali for two games.
The decision came after taking into account "his improper action during Al Duhail’s Amir Cup match against Al Rayyan on Monday," Qatar Football Association announced on their web site yesterday.
A fine of QR10,000 was also handed following “disgraceful behaviour towards the competitor”, QFA announced.
