People look at a pair of giant stainless steel spectacles titled ‘Perceiving Freedom’, a sculptural tribute to former South African president Nelson Mandela, on the Sea Point promenade in Cape Town South Africa, yesterday. The spectacles look out towards Robben Island, where Mandela was jailed for most of his 27 years in prison.
