Action during QSL Cup match between Al Kharaitiyat and Al Arabi, yesterday.
Doha: Abdul Ghani Muneer scored the last-gasp goal as Al Gharafa snatched a 1-1 draw against Al Duhail in their Group A match of QSL Cup at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium, yesterday.
Al Gharafa’s repeated attacks to level score yielded result when Muneer struck from a close range in 4th and last minute of injury time to secure a point for Al Gharafa, Earlier, Fahad Waad Al Bayati gave Al Duhail lead in the 17th minute.
In another match, Valentin Marius Lazar and Majid Aman Salmeen scored a goal each as Al Kharaitiyat SC blanked Al Arabi 2-0 at Grand Hamad Stadium. Salmeen gave the winners lead in the 37th which Lazar doubled 3 minutes later.
Al Arabi made several attempts to avoid the defeat but failed to score against the defiant Al Kharaitiyat defence.
Another Group A at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium saw Qatar SC and Umm Salal sharing points after a goalless draw.
