Al Rawabi Group honours top-performing, long-serving employees at town hall

Doha, Qatar: Al Rawabi Group of Companies successfully conducted its second Annual Town Hall Meeting at ICC Ashoka Hall, Abu Hamour, as part of its continued commitment to employee engagement, recognition, and empowerment.

The event was inaugurated by Mohammed Abdulla, Managing Director of Al Rawabi Group of Companies, in the presence of MP Abdulla Haji – Chairman, KK Usman – Managing Director, Five Group Trading, Muhammed Sadik – Director, Harris Thayyil – Director, and Kannu Baker – Group General Manager.

This year’s Town Hall Meeting honoured employees who have demonstrated unwavering dedication to the organisation. The spotlight was on team members completing 25 years and 15 years of service, as well as outstanding performers from each division, recognised as the Best Staff of the Year.

A moment of immense pride and legacy was witnessed when Naushad KTK, Assistant General Manager, Wholesale Division, and Ismail VP, Purchase Manager, were celebrated for their 25 years of dedicated service. In a symbolic gesture of appreciation, the Chairman and Board of Directors presented both leaders with the keys to THAR ROXX, showcasing Al Rawabi’s gratitude for their loyalty and commitment. 

In addition, 25 employees from various divisions who completed 15 years of service were also honoured, each sharing personal reflections of growth, support, and the deep bond they share with the organization. In his keynote address, Mohammed Abdulla, Managing Director of

Al Rawabi Group, shared: “Al Rawabi’s greatest strength is our people. This Town Hall is a reflection of our legacy — a culture built on trust, dedication, and empowerment. We are proud to celebrate those who have walked with us for 15 and 25 years, and the Best Staff from each division who continue to raise the bar. Our staff are the pillars of our progress, and as part of our commitment to their future, I am pleased to announce a scholarship program for the children of our employees, supporting their dreams and education. Al Rawabi’s journey is incomplete without its people — and together, we will continue to grow.”

Adding depth to the session, renowned financial educator K V Shamsudheen was invited to deliver a special address on personal financial discipline, guiding employees on building long-term savings and financial stability.

The event also featured personal stories from the Directors of Al Rawabi Group, who shared their entrepreneurial journey, the values that shaped the company, and their vision for the future.

The meeting concluded on a high note with a collective message from the leadership team: “We are not just a company, we are a family. Each employee’s contribution is a chapter in the Al Rawabi story. Let us continue to build a future where success is shared, values are upheld, and our legacy continues.”
