Qatar Olympic side will take on Bahrain in their 11th place playoff in the Toulon Tournament in France, today. The match will be played at the Stade D’Honneur in Mallemort and will kick off at 5.00pm Qatar time.
The Qatari boys lost to French U-18 2-0 in their opening fixture before going down to Guatemala 2-0 last Wednesday. The Qatari juniors also lost to Brazil’s Under-22 team 5-0 in their third Group B match on Saturday.
Qatar squad is using the Toulon Tournament to get match practice before the AFC Asian U-23 Cup next year. The event which will take place in Thailand will also act as the qualifier for the 2020 Olympics.
